Illustrator name logo

Yesterday we had our second Illustrator lesson. Sadly I wasn't present because I was sick. My classmates explained the assignment to me. They told me the teacher asked them to trace either an existing baseball logo or, using a font site, make our own logo. We were supposed to pick a font and use the site to generate it in our own name. After this we save the image and transform it using photoshop. When this is done, trace the pixelated image in Illustrator using the pen tool and give it a shadown and a background which is made by offsetting a copy of the original trace.
