Cardboard model
While I was working on my cardboard model for my Rocket Stove, my teacher told me that I probably wouldn't be able to realize my design with the available machinery.
I was surprised because my design was fairly simple.

I was pretty much convinced that it should be possible. Because of this my teacher told me to go to the Makerspace and see for myself. We went downstairs and the teacher at Makerspace told me to make a construction drawing of my design. I did and went back. He gave me a piece of sheetmetal of the correct measurements and I started to scratch my design on it. After this we tried to figure out how to make it.

Long story short;
It was possible, but would take a really long time and hard work to make it happen. It would be to much of a hassle to stick to this design. Because of this I decided to redesign.

I would be able to realize this design with the available machinery. The only downside? The thickness of the parts would increase quite a bit. This was something I really wanted to avoid.
After some time I met outside with the Makerspace teacher. We talked a bit and I told him I redesigned the part and I would come in later to show it to him. During this conversation he told me he was going to buy metal jigsaw blades because I wasn't the only one who had this problem.
When I heard this I immediatly decided to go back to my old design, because the metal jigsaw blades made it possible to realize it way faster, and I wouldn't be so complicated anymore.
This is how I was going to realize it:
(The dotted circles show where to drill holes and the dotted lines show where to saw, normal lines are the edges of the material)
