Lightweight coat hanger

As an assignment for the design techniques class we were asked to make a sketch of a coat hanger. We were supposed to make sure the design would communicate aspects we wanted to communicate with the barbecue project design as well. We were also supposed to use our research from the previous assignment. This didn't really work out in my case as I found out that the design choices I wanted to make for my barbecue project weren't fitted for a coat hanger. Because of this I went in a totally different direction, adjusting my way of making a lightweight and compact design.
