DESIGNING THE BLENDER

I’m going to redesign the action blender. I’ll redesign it in SolidWorks and I’ll use the internal parts.
For redesigning the blender we’ve been given a sketch as a starting point. I’ve received the sketch shown on the left.
My initial interpretation of the sketch:
A blender with two legs or jeans. Slightly rounded shapes, but not too much. (It’s still a pretty sleek design) Modern but with a touch of abnormality.
After brainstorming for a bit I realised my interpretation was actually different from what I originally wrote down.
My new interpretation of the sketch:
Child-like design, feeling like the product is alive. Associations with Belle and the Beast.
Because of this realisation I adjusted my way of thinking about the design. Was making a blender for kids an option? I realised I felt reluctant towards this idea, mainly because it felt unsafe. But, I thought, is it tho?
Feeling inclined to question my initial reaction to this idea, I started to search online for answers. This is what I found:
"There are so many things that parents need to teach kids in life, that some skills fall by the wayside because we think of them as being too difficult or dangerous to teach." - www.stayathomemum.com.au/my-kids/activities/7-reasons-you-should-teach-your-kids-to-cook/
Because of this website I decided to take this as a challenge!
I'm designing a blender for kids!
