The Get Technic logo was created for the fictional company that we had to set up during the TecSwing project.

To give you a small impression of the company that should be represented by this logo you can read a part of the folder we created for it as well:
The Logo is supposed to show you the company's mission.
I tried to achieve this by using a light bulb in the center of the logo to subtlety represent technology, creativity and innovation. The light bulb is also used to represent the moment when an idea pops up into your head. Get Technic wants to give children new ideas by introducing them to different aspects of technology and physics at an early age. Hoping they would sooner attract to the technology sector when it comes to their educations later in life.
Surrounding the light bulb are several kids of different colors. This is supposed to represent the fact that Get Technic takes all different kinds of kids in account when developing their products. Besides this it's also supposed to show others that Get Technic always tries to make products that promotes working together and coming up with new ideas together.
The font I've chosen for the logo is fun, childlike and simple. I've chosen for this because it's supposed to be appealing to both kids and adults, it also suggests that this company is in fact the company that created the playset.
The overall logo is divided into two parts, the logo image and the logo name. I designed the logo this way so it would be easy to put the logo on the actual playsets without it having to take up to much space in order for it to be recognizable. You can do a lot with just the logo's picture. For instance, when we were promoting our prototype swing, we could also give them a small key chain with the logo on it.
