This is a logo created for my own use. As a hobby I make "Forest Jars", These are closed jars containing a self sustaining ecosystem. This means that you never have to give them water and they will still be able to live and grow! All they need is a bit of sunlight.
I've made sure this logo clearly communicates the product by making a cartoon version of the product part of the logo. Also in order to strengthen the "forest-feel" I've chosen a tall font that reminds you of twigs or tall trees. Besides making the logo reminiscent of a forest I also wanted to give it a old weathered look. Because the jars and bottles I use are old, already used jars who would otherwise end up in the trash can. I tried to achieve this with the color pallet I've chosen and the old-and-torn label-look.
